If the Knicks can win out, and Miami lost out.. the Knicks will then be the #5 seed playing Milwaukee.

Who would you rather play right now?

#2 NJ Nets #7 Knicks?
#3 Detroit #6 Knicks?
#4 Milwaukee #5 Knicks?

I think we have a better chance against Milwaukee than NJ.

The Knicks can't get the 5th seed according to tie-breakers, but they can gain the 6th seed. All the Knicks have to do is beat the Hornets and Cavs and the Hornets just needs to lose to the Wizards.

They can get 5th seed if they win their last 2 games and the Hornets and Heat lose both their last two. I think it's more than likely they'll stay in 7th and either way, I wouldn't like them to have the Pistons in the first round.

i would rather the knicks stay in that seven spot because the nets have so many question marks in there team going into the playoffs with k-mart and j-kidd being hurt which would make them some what of a target and easier to eliminate the knicks and nets so far this year are i believe 1-1 without kidd and martin at full health so i think they could pull that out

It'll either be 6th or 7th now, as Miami won.

If they continue to let Marbury sit and rest on the bench for the final couple of games, I don't see the Knicks gaining. I think they'll probably end up with that 7th spot to face NJ. I'm really looking forward to that matchup, Kidd vs. Marbury.

They've only got one game left now, against the Cavs.

that game will be a little though because the cavs will want to play spoiler because they will just be free shooting since they have nothing to gain while the knicks will have alot of perssure on them to win to establish momentum going into the playoffs
