The Knicks announced the signing of free agent center Cheikh Samb to a 10-day contract on Monday.
Samb, 24, has played in 20 NBA games with the Pistons, Nuggets and Clippers after being a second-round pick of the Lakers in 2006.
The 7-1, 245-pound Samb is a native of Senegal. He was waived by the Clippers on Feb. 16.
