Knicks president Donnie Walsh told the New York Daily News that he hopes to speak to free agent point guard Jamaal Tinsley, whom Walsh drafted when he ran the Indiana Pacers.
The Knicks want to sign another point guard and Tinsley could be the cheapest option.
The New York Post reports Donnie Walsh has also had advanced discussions regarding Rockets shooting guard Von Wafer, according to his agent Raymond Brothers.
The Knicks hope to bring Wafer in for a visit.
