Lydia Ko, the wunderkind of women's golf who turned 17 on Thursday, won the $1.87 million Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic on Sunday, her first victory since becoming a pro in October.

Ko shot a 3-under-par 69 at Lake Merced Country Club just south of San Francisco to finish with a total of 12-under 276. She took the lead with a birdie on the 13th hole when her playing partner for all four rounds, Stacy Lewis, made a bogey.
