Now he realizes that this top dollar team that is 120 million over the salary cap is not going anywhere.

Their "old asses" just beat our guys' young asses just fine the other night.

Its his building frustration because the team lost at home against the 76ers.

Maybe Kobe needs to take extenze to get better function.
:biglaugh:

He often says the word shit to reporters. Imagine the Oregonian's reaction if he were a Blazer.

Remind me to cry when I have some spare time.

I read somewhere that there was a heated exchange in the locker room and Kobe told Dwight that Shaq was right about him and he is soft.

Beating the Blazers isn't exactly like beating OKC, the Spurs, or the Heat in a 7-game series.

I assume you were kidding? The Lakers didn't bring in Nash and Howard just to beat teams like the Blazers 50% of the time, did they?

My co worker was on first class with Los angeles's beat writer about the lakers sad case. He said that Kobe realized that he can never win 7 titles to beat Jordan, so he's going after karems scoring title.

...and then there is this:

Prior to a nationally-televised Thursday night game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Bryant pointed to his past to explain why he should keep hucking, calling out his critics in the process.

"Look, I've played 15 years. I've won world championships. I've done all these things. And people still want to talk about this stupid-a** [stuff]? I'm a scorer first ... I'll try to make the good play, the good pass, kick it out when my teammates are open, but I'm a scorer first. I may shoot 27 times. I may shoot 20 times. Nobody complains when I shoot 10 times. You don't hear ME complaining when I shoot 10 times. It just depends on the game, you know?"

Yes, but Kobe, according to ESPN research, you have the highest "usage rate" -- that's the number of possessions a player uses per 40 minutes -- in the NBA. In fact, your usage rate (38.9) would be the highest in the 3-point era of NBA--

--"Yeah," he says. "And I also have five rings."

...Kobe should listen to his old teammate "The Machine" and keep shooting!
