I have been follicley challenged for the past 10 years and am very comfortable with my hairless situation. The key is to know when to give in and start shaving it. DO NOT try to comb it a certain way or wear a hat every day. Trust me when I say you are the last one to know it's falling out. Just let it go. I use the beard trimmer every couple days.
