QUOTE

Whenever Nenad Krstic is able to play again - he still hasn't been cleared for contact - don't be surprised if the three-point shot becomes a part of his arsenal.

"Yeah," he said. "Why not? Could be."

What does the little guy over there that calls the plays say about that?

"I don’t know. I didn’t talk to him."

Krstic has been working on his threes, but he's more concerned with playing again. He hasn't done any contact work since tearing his ACL last December and had to watch when the Nets srimmaged Monday morning.

Smartly, the Nets are taking it very slowly with Krstic and he appreciates that no one is pressuring him. He doesn't know if he's going to play in the preseason. He's shooting for opening night.

All serbian players can do that.

Liar.

I don't remember you saying this

Some people would say he should work on his inside game but he will never be that inside type player we need, but thats okay.

He is strenthing the part of his game he does so well. one more weapon.

Lets face it, he'll never be that great of an inside player. Doesn't have the strength to go with it, so anything he can add to make him better would be great. This isn't like Amare wasting his time developing a 3 point shot.

I've been anticipating this for a while. His ball-handling in the open-court is pretty good for his size too. Very excited to see what he can do this season.

Another Okur?

Closer to Rik Smits than Okur, I'd think.

I don't mind he hits the three, that would be aforce to his defender. Dirk and Okur do that.

i dont mind if he learns how to shoot 3s as long as that isnt his priority anymore. amare is practicing his 3point shot now, but why? amare is one of the most dominanting paint players on the offensive en din the league. krstic is not dominating but he is very crafty and i rather him continue to practice his paint game instead of just shooting long jumpers. i dont want plays run for him to take a 3, that is for sure. krstic may never become a dominant big man, but it doesnt hurt to keep practicing and live in the paint. he would only benefit the team more if he continues to become a better post player.

I'm not surprised. He could hit that 20 footer, he could be able to hit the 3 consistently soon.

Let's face it...I love that line. It assumes that the author knows what he is talking about and thatwhat he saysis immutable.

Damn, in my face!

But I don't think BBF threads should count. I've wiped them clean from my memory

Nenad is a ball-holder in the post and he must improve on his decision-making and passing out of the post if he wants Frank to consistenly run plays for him in the post. He is most effective in pick-and-rolls run by Carter/RJ.

So you don't still have the kickass desktop you made? (Which I'm using right now.)

The KMart one? haha Kenyon is timeless, he'll always be the exception to the rule.

lol! oh yeah I should probably update that (and make it better looking while I'm at it). But for the record if RJ gets traded I'm taking credit for breaking the story.

I don't know if you've already noticed, but Magloire is actually dunking the ball the wrong way; inside-out. Shhhhhh...
