Re: Lance Armstrong to answer questions ''directly, honestly and candidly'' next week

I wonder if all the second place finishers will now be crowned TdF champion?

Re: Lance Armstrong to answer questions ''directly, honestly and candidly'' next week

everybody was doping, so he is still the best? just make doping mandatory and get it over with

...I am pretty sure they were doping too :dunno:

...similar to the "steroid era" in MLB -- HGH is amazing!

Re: Lance Armstrong to answer questions ''directly, honestly and candidly'' next week

From about the third tour win on I just assumed he and his team was doping, it is just that his team was just doing a better than any of the other teams/riders. It was nice to not have it confirmed for so long so I could just watch and enjoy. Seeing all of the back roads and little French villages made me want to visit. I really enjoyed watching the tour during US Postal's run. I would only wake up at 4am if it was a mountain stage though.

Without drugs, cycling is not very exciting to watch. An admission by Armstrong would confirm that man cannot do anything with a bike that is out of the ordinary without assistance.

Ya maybe but it's not just that he was doping. He used a lot of people, A lot of people looked up to Lance and he asked a lot of people to lie for him.

Sucks to be them, all weak and void of self-esteem, willing to sell their soul to be near a celebrity.

Armstrong made $100-million during his career. Suppose he's going to give it back?

This is it for me. It's not so much that he lied because that was evident. It was how he used those lies to gain bling and trust. That, to me, makes him a first class schmuck.

Re: Lance Armstrong to answer questions ''directly, honestly and candidly'' next week

Lance is just claiming Lance doped because Lance is jealous of Lance's success.

How about LieStrong? All you have to do is grab LiveStrong images and black out the letter v...

Re: Lance Armstrong to answer questions ''directly, honestly and candidly'' next week

By the way, my first reaction was "Armstrong cheated? No shit, Sherlock."

My second was, "Who was actually stupid enough to believe he didn't cheat?"

My third was, "if Congress gets involved in this, I'm going to flip out."

My fourth was, "Who gives a fuck?"

...that is already taken by some pathetic attempt at a website --> www.liestrong.com <-- plus, I like the past-tense version better with LIEDSTRONG!

Re: Lance Armstrong to answer questions ''directly, honestly and candidly'' next week

The cheating in cycling thing is pretty much a non-story for me; that sport is dirtier than homeless person's underwear. The thing that really sucks about Armstrong is the way he went after people with lawsuits and bully tactics, sometimes ruining careers and reputations along the way. The guy can go to hell.
