Cool . . . you're offically a legend with that whole Oden playing pick up ball. How often do posts on these chat boards actually make breaking news stories.

Not that you were trying to create a big deal, but it's now in the past (today's new is tomorrow's trash) and really funny in a way.

I hope I am referencing the right poster here or don't I look like an idiot.

He also interviewed Blazer players seasons ago (for a website?).

He brings a great perspective when it comes to what players are like off the court and the atmosphere in the locker room.

Nate actually used to report on the Blazers regularly, and he's a great guy to have around.

As barfo indicated, though: I doubt you'll be the last regular who finds this board.

Well you laugh, but you are one of those good posters BBF doesn't want to lose.

Just to catch you up (since the title is last to know), many posters plan on posting on both boards and feeling things out. This board offers good speed and mods, the "other" board has the numbers when it comes to members and activity (sorry sports2).

There you go, you are now officially caught up with regard to he last 1000 or so posts.
 
I just think it's funny that BBF fed this site into their filter so you can't see it in a PM.

Hey, Nate--glad to see you here. I was just wondering if you'd gotten the word.

The interesting thing is that I'm getting PM'ed by people I've never talked to (even in the board) asking me where the new site is. (Of course, I tell them to go away, as communicating such information is against community standards there.) I think it's the lurkers and the very occasional posters who are the ones really puzzled about what's happened. That's probably reflected in the higher number of viewers over there than here.

Well, if the internet has proven anything, it's that traffic always follows the content eventually. It's pretty easy to see that the better content is going to be on this board.

The higher number of viewers there is directly related to post count. The more posts there are for google to index, the more likely someone is to find where the action is.
