I actually believe not playing Layman put them in worse position in the playoffs. Players like CJ and Dame played too many minutes IMHO

The Timberwolves recently acquired Jake Layman, Noah Vonleh, and Shabazz Napier in separate deals. According to John Meyer of Forbes, Vanterpool likely had a hand on the recent acquisitions. The new Timberwolves associate head coach previously worked together with all three players in Portland.
