LeBron Uses Twitter To Court Crawford, Nash

LeBron James has openly courted Jamal Crawford and Steve Nash on Twitter.

NBA players are typically not allowed to court players under contract with other teams, but the lockout has suspended several rules such as that one.

"Would love to see @JCrossover in a Heat uni! What u guys say?" wrote James about Crawford.

Crawford is a free agent, which makes James' statement permissible under any circumstances.

But Nash remains under contract with the Suns.

"Maybe @stevenash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ring."

hes pathetic, if they win one he will be a role player

I think he gets it, he just doesn't give a shit about it.

When you have had your ass kissed and told your shit doesn't stink since elementary school because you are good at putting a ball in a basket, you tend to consider yourself above "every day worries". Players like him make me wish that the entire season will be cancelled like the NHL did several years ago, and both players and owners feel the pain, which the average of 1/1000th of that pain would equal what I'll make in my entire lifetime.

Lol, LeBitch needs even more help to get that ring. Love it!

If the players and union were as smart as they think they are, they would just join their own league and hire an anti-establishment coach like Phil Jackson to run it. Maybe get Chuck Daly and Hubie Brown back out of retirement to coach a few teams... As coaches under NBA contract become available, they would trickle in. It might be a struggle the first year or two to get stadium and TV opportunities out of the NBA grip, but sitting out a year in a show of solidarity isn't any better.

The players have the product, but not intelligence to know what to do with it.

This ends today's slightly off-topic rant...

Join their own league? You mean, become equals with the owners in selecting the Commissioner? How?

LeBron shouldn't even be a story anymore. He showed his true colors in the Finals. He is nothing. He won't win a championship. Doesn't have it in him. I put Barkley and Malone ahead of LeBron. They never won either, but at least they fucking tried. LeBron just isn't that good. No killer instinct. Not as good as he and most fans think he is. The Cavs lost nothing when they lost LeBron. They weren't going to win a title with him so it was best for the fans for him to leave.

Oh...he meant START their own league.

You've come under the influence of Laker propaganda. You need to remove yourself from their media and their fans immediately. Those haters said similar things about the Kings (e.g. calling them the Queens), the Bulls, the Pistons, the Blazers, the Spurs, etc.

Nash is under contract, and isn't going anywhere. Crawford is a FA and can go where he damn well pleases.

What is with all the faux outrage?

Lebron, Wade, Bosh

Carmelo, Stoudamire and Paul?

These are the two reasons why the small market owners need to make sure that they do NOT allow this to become a growing trend....

Going forward, Daly would win as many championships as Nate.

Hard cap!

It's the only thing that will stop this player collusion trend in it's tracks.

I'm pretty sure Shaq didn't "have it in him" when he got swept four times before the age of 28.

Let's be honest, you don't know anything about basketball. A couple of years ago you couldn't stop mentioning how much of a loser Kobe is, when the only loser here is.....

;)

Guys relax, we need a bench.

They have the weakest bench in the league and Chris Bosh isn't an All-Star.

So yeah I don't get your argument. The Mavs won nearly the same amount of games in the regular season and Dirk was hurt.

I am fine with a hard cap but I doubt that Collusion would end. The Heat took a paycut and LeBron could have gone to Chicago. So there was always going to be some super team formed. The Cavaliers proved they're a pretty weak team without James.

Oops, yeah, that.

I think that one's going to be a bit
difficult
. At least Hubie Brown only looks like he's dead...
Damn, I forgot about that... Still, you gotta give me credit for thinking outside the box! A dead commish is better than Stern and Hunter any day of the week.

Let's go a step further and have the players have an ownership stake in their new league... I bet that would make them play hard every night and make every year a "contract year." I'm not sure what it would do for retirement, though.

LeBron will never win 4 championships, like Shaq did. It's never gonna happen.
