Buffalo acquired Vesey's rights for a 3rd rounder. This tells me that NY and Buffalo have a deal going down. I don't believe for a second Vesey will sign with Buffalo. I think the Rangers probably had Buffalo on the phone and asked that they get Vesey's rights. Now I think a deal goes down soon.

I don't know but as of right now this is one of the 2-3 worst defenseman corps if things stay as they are. Florida is going to be pretty darn dynamic if they do sign Yandle. We really needed to find a way to keep him.

Sounds like SJ could be the likely destination for Nash as they are supposedly pushing hard for him. Im sure JT really wants him there. Their prospect pool isnt all that great but they have wingers like Goldobin and Meier who are high end and a defenseman named Jeremy Roy who offensively gifted which we dont have in the system. Would they give up Hertl or Nieto and a prospect or pick?

Roy is a long shot. He blows defensively. Don't see the Rangers haven't interest in him. Meier was the 9th pick in the draft. They aren't getting him for Nash. Goldobin is a guy they might part with. Don't see them giving up Hertl. Nieto because of his great speed would probably be a player they are targeting. However, I don't see San Jose as a fit. Anaheim to me is a much better fit. Their GM stated they have a three year window. San Jose doesn't have a first rounder. Anaheim has two. 24 and 30. Brandon Montour is much better than Roy. He's righty, 6 feet and had 57 points in the AHL on defense last year. I'd much rather do Nash for hopefully the 30th and Montour. See if Anaheim would bite on that.
