He's not a familiar face to a lot of people, text needed. Not a bad start, but it does not look finished to me.

put some big text ont he left and try to bring the pic out more, and make the left less dark.

This would look a little better if everything stuck out some more, maybe more contrast or something. For the text, something simple would be nice.

Before you start thinking about text, sharpen the whole thing, then Fade Sharpen and set it to Overlay.
