David Lee told the AP Thursday that he's frustrated by the lack of progress on a new deal with the New York Knicks, prompting Newsday to report that a trade scenario is being considered by the Knicks and the Utah Jazz involving Carlos Boozer.
"It's been frustrating enough that it has caused us now to kind of look at other options," Lee told the paper.
1050 ESPN New York's Andrew Marchand reports there is no deadline set by the Knicks for David Lee. The agent for Lee, Mark Bartelstein, tells Marchand that Knicks President Donnie Walsh has not brought up an idea of a deadline in any of their conversations. An NBA official with knowlege of the Knicks' thinking also told Marchand there is no deadline.
