It will be interesting to look at the 40 man roster after the offseason and compare to the current one. We have so much dead wood on this roster. The Red represents who gives a shit if they are on it. The Blue represents prospect or maybe to early to tell. By my count that leaves us with 15 players deserving of a major league roster spot... and that's including Pineda. So as of Nov 12, 2013 this is our bounty!

...I think/hope the Yanx will add 3-4 solid players from elsewhere.
 
This is why they have to spending to get to Opening Day.
 
It's too bad they sat out last off-season aside from overpaying Youkilis and Ichiro, and stupidly trading for Wells. Just makes this off-season that much harder with a lot more work to do. I guess laziness doesn't pay off, after all and Cashman may have to put off those repelling vacations this time around.
