It's obvious that the NOH vs. Lakers and PDX vs. Dallas series has been a huge success. Let's see how the fouls called at this game favors either team. It could determine which team he actually favors. If it's called fair on both accounts, then maybe, just maybe this playoffs could be different.

I think the officiating will favor the home team. For the Blazers to win game 5 I think they need to win by double digits. Otherwise, we might be seeing a repeat of Game 1. Let's hope for a quick start by the Zers.

yeah, this is pretty much how I feel. We have to blow this wide open, or its going to be hard sailing. Have to think that the lat game being such a historic event, has got to help us.

This. Even if not from the refs, we have to be in Dallas' head. Hard to come back from a collapse like that. Lets hope I'm still saying that in 3 hours.

The outpour of love for Roy and the rise from the dead story might actually be a selling point for the NBA. Maybe the refs go out of their way to screw Dallas in this one. It would be nice for a change.

Houston never wilted even though I hoped they would, the Suns never wilted (i.e. Richardson continued to shoot 91% from three), and I have a feeling the Mavericks won't either. I've a feeling that they're going to come out focused and rolling, and we will have to one-up them with our guys' pure talent. Potentially this is from one of our forwards breaking out along with 2 of our guards, not to mention LA. Here we go!

I'm not convinced yet... we'll see.... I think Stern wants the series to go 7. If the refs start to job us, we will know.

Well, if that Batum "charging" foul is any indication, it's going to be a long night.

Dallas has three fouls in the first half. Three. Fouls. Welcome to today's NBA. :sigh:

Why I don't post in BlazersEdge

Yup Both teams have been getting inside. The Blazers haven’t gotten calls. Some of that really is Dallas defense but some of it is home cooking. Now, here’s the question: Do you come out and play the second half anyway and take this game (and its bare, 1-point deficit) anyway or should the team just not bother coming back from the locker room? The refs probably aren’t going to change. If the Blazers can’t beat the Mavs and aren’t committed to beating the Mavs anyway, they should quit now. Otherwise, win this game and make it a moot point.

What a douche. Yeah, we get it; you're just too fucking cool.
