Remember when the radios used to play good songs almost all day long? Then Bad Boy and all those crappy southern labels started taking over. It seems hip hop died out in 98-99. Anyone wanna talk about their favorite artists and songs?

I listen to Biggie and Dr. Dre quite heavily. I like some of the new stuff coming out, but it has nothing on the old days.

I used to be a huge fan of rap music, but I haven't really listened to it for a long ass time.

My favorite rappers are probably the Wu-Tang-Clan. GZA and Raekwon are my favorites from the group. Also used to love Nas. I don't like any of the mainstream artists currently, although I think TI is decent.

90's was arguably the best era for hip-hop, closely followed by the 80's IMO.

One artist who's loan album was tight IMO was Big Pun's "Capital Punishment"
yes it had those lame self-stroking interludes that rappers like to do for some stupid reason, but his rhyming was tight IMO and the beats were varried.
I still pop that into the cd player in my car from time to time.
Of course still listen to some biggie, 2pac, Dre and Beastie Boys from time to time.
