Not sure if this is a Jordan to the Wizards move or a Schumacher to Ferrari move.

Also interesting, I think Leclerc is faster than George Russel, and GR proved to be a pretty tough team-mate for Lewis.

I am wondering if this is a romantic notion that every great driver needs to drive at some point for Ferrari and he does not want to be like Senna...

In The F1 world. Michael Andretti and Cadillac were trying to set up a team to join in 2025 or 26 and F1 denied. Saying they didn't think they could develop a engine and be competitive. Said maybe in 2028.

I am an idiot, the question should have been,

Lewis to Ferrari - is it Schumacher to Mercedes (where Lewis is coming from) or Schumacher to Ferrari (which is what Lewis would like to replicate).

Ferrari must of thrown A LOT of money at Lewis in order for him to make this move. It'll be an interesting dynamic with the Mercedes team this season.

Big middle finger to F1 and team owners for denying Andretti and Cadillac entry. But it may end up helping Andretti/Cadillac in the end. They'll be more prepared and wont have to deal with car regulation changes so soon after entering.
