Li Na first from China to reach quarters

Maria Sharapova won the last four games to beat 12th-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 7-6 (4), 7-5 on Monday at the French Open and reach her first Grand Slam quarterfinal in two years.

She joined Li Na in the quarterfinals, as the Australian Open runner-up advanced with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 9 Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic.
