But....he's bad
If Dame was in NY or LA he would be considered a superstar.
Is it really a bad thing to be called the "worst" of that group? The worst of that group is still better than a whole lot of other players.
I don't think it would matter. He's all over tv. The team just needs to be better. Look at WestbrookIf Dame was in NY or LA he would be considered a superstar.
Thats like saying the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 is worse than the 2009 Ferrari 458! Why even respond ass clowns like this. This type of reply tweet looks like something a few on here would put out there.
How is he "on pace", exactly, Sly? I mean, of those 5 dudes listed, only two are in the HOF.
Of course he is. He's the greatest Blazer ever, potentially, maybe, some day in the future, or possibly now.
and he's a musician!
You know how someone is great. It's not their presence you notice, but their absence. I was am an idiot and started listening to Derek Jeter's detractors after about ten years in the league. Baseball stats geeks are the biggest pricks on the planet and they will tear a player apart to analyze his faults. There was line of thinking that Jeter couldn't play SS anymore and everybody jumped on. And maybe they were right. But nobody could jam a high and tight fastball up the middle like Jeter. Nobody could get 200 hits when he was almost forty years old like Jeter. Nobody has more hits at SS than Jeter. I only noticed all this stuff AFTER he was gone and Arod was the closest thing to a star on the Yanks. I promised I would never do the same thing with Dame. Appreciate greatness when it's here. Not after it's gone....
I hate the Yankees with a passion rarely seen...
But I always respected Jeter's game.
Fun fact: Dude is fucking built like a horse in person... saw him about 15 feet away at a yanks/M's game (The day Ichiro got traded to them) - holy shit.
Right. And he plays defense!and he's a musician!
I respect you Streuus. You're a Giants fan. But if you are really "down with Steve Perry" that your hatred of the Yankees shouldn't come close to the Dodgers....
I'm actually not a Giants fan - I'm a Mariners fan. (And to a lesser extent, Cubs fan... because we had WGN and TNT - and the Cubs won my fandom back then).
I just have never liked the Yankees - never will.
But my cousins, and uncle... well they love the Yanks. But they love the sport of Baseball as much as I do - so it's okay.
M's fan. That's cool. Dipoto is going to turn that team into a winner soon. He's made some great trades this offseason. Can't believe the Angels let him go.

You poor bastard. I also have this affliction.
