I was at that game with the standing room only tickets at the top row against the back wall (call this the 400 section) -- best live sports experience of my life!!

Don't you ever get tired of the Debbie Downer shtick?

Man bro it’s not that serious. I was just saying that video is played out man. It’s been almost 10 years. It’s a 1st round win dude then we got swept the next round by the spurs. Let’s win a ring

I've been a fan of the Blazer since Day 1 and in that time I've had the pleasure of enjoying one championship. If that's your standard, you're in for a lot of disappointment as a Blazer fan. That play by Dame is one of the top plays in Blazers history. I don't care how many years go by, I'll always enjoy that play.

It's so much bigger than that.

Just as the video described, Portland, at the time, had the longest drought of ANY NBA team in winning a playoff series. We went though multiple seasons of 20-ish wins, the rise and fall of the Rise With Us era, and we were on the verge of blowing a series that saw us take the first two games on the road.

I don't know if we go down to Houston two days later and win a Game 7. I don't know the trajectory of the franchise had we lost that game.

I do know that moment will forever be etched in Trail Blazers lore for the remainder of time. It's arguably the greatest shot in franchise history. It was about as satisfying a playoff series win as we've had considering how unlikable the Rockets were, and, most importantly, it was the moment Damian Lillard became the face of the franchise.

Can you please name for me how many players that have closed out ANY series with a game winning shot to end the game?

It was a good video, well produced. That's worth watching no matter how old the moment is.

John Stockton, Kahwi Leonard, just to name a few

two. Steve kerr is another. So we know of four off the top of our heads. Of all the thousands of players who have made it to the playoffs there are maybe, what? A few dozen at most?

our boy has now done it twice and that was his first.

learn some respect. The shot will never get old.

get a ring.... Only 15 out of the hundreds of players get a ring each year.

You should give credit where credit is due. Dont lower your expectations. Ut lower your level of satisfaction.
Do like Bobby McFerrin Nd enjoy what we have.
Ever read the easopes fables story Bout the dog with the steak in his mouth looking at his reflection in the river?

the reflection made the steak look bigger. So he let the steak in his mouth go for the bigger steak... and down the river his steak went, left with nothing at all.

not at the buzzer

actually it wasn't even the last points of the game

ah your right. Four seconds left and they were already up by one. They weren't down.

So this is an extremely rare occurrence overall aNd dude is shitting on Dame as old news.....

They weren't up, score was tied. It was basically a game winner, just not a buzzer beater. Jazz had 5 seconds to tie or take the lead but Pippen stole the inbound pass and gave it to Kukoc for the dunk.
