This is hilarious. I assume she's a Blazer fan, but it's hard to be sure.

Gerald was my wife's favorite player, so she was also pretty broken up about the trade, even after I explained that this is how we get better as a team in the future. It's a tough sell for her, but she's dealing ok.

Im with you on that one. Good luck trying to explain the business side to emotional fan based wife. My conversations with her about Rudy and Joel were horrible.

My fiancé's favorite player, but I explained why this was a good move and she accepted it. She said she will be wearing her Wallace Jerseys to the games when we drive up.

My girlfriend said she didn't want to go to another Blazer game again after I told her he was traded. Somethin' bout Gerald and the ladies..

Gerald has that Barry White voice that women love.

I had the same reaction when I learned Felton WASN'T traded...

My guess is that she's a Nets fan ...
Nah, 7-year-olds don't roll that way. My hunch is that her mom set her up by the way she framed the question . . . "Are you ready for this?", which made the poor little girl think it was some kind of tragic, earth-shattering news.

What a stupid thing to (a) videotape and (b) post online.

I thought she was fake crying at first.....maybe she's used to getting things when she cries.
