Exhorting people to come out and see the Rays. Texas in town, the Rays contending and they drew 10 K to the Trop. The Tampa Bay Area does not have a huge homogenized population so building a fan base is difficult even though the Rays may be winning. Many like myself are from other parts of the country and remain loyal to our original teams. I am told I live here so I should support the Rays, my answer to that is Yankee Fan since '55 end of story.
