Man, interviews like this make me love Nas even more. Great demeanor. Didn’t even want to give himself a point projection. “I could average 10 and 6 and if we win 50+ games that’s a great season”.

You lock guys like this up when they have depreciated value (if you seem to think he is that). You either lock him up early despite the injuries like GSW did Curry for a cheaper rate, or you wait for him to pop and give him an Ant-sized contract next year.

4 yrs/$50m or 3yrs/$40m with incentives is a great value for even a high quality bench player. While I believe Nas is much better than that, $12.5-13.3m a year is also a moveable deal.
