This is Joel's time to shine.

Carpe Diem, big fella!!

One thing I would like to see is getting him involved offensively. Not a LOT, but a bit. It may soften up the perimeter a tad if they have to actually guard him.

I don't get to see many games. How well has he done recently, say, passing out of a double? (like that ever happens. )

Actually he does OK. He also has a decent jump hook and is so-so effective in the pick & roll.

I mean, to be sure, he's no offensive weapon, but if called upon he can score some.

I think Joel is a fine starting center, but he's the best backup five in the league. That's what effs us with Oden is that we lose our defensive toughness with our second unit. And when Joel gets into foul trouble, we're doubly stupped.

Wouldn't is be a "Przym"? Every time I type the guy's name, I have to Google it because I get the letter order wrong if I don't!

Yeah, I believe its spelled "P-R-Z-Y-B-I-L-L-A" ... even though I rarely spell it correctly.

"Seize the day"? Given his own lengthy list of prior injuries, isn't it more likely to be "Seize (insert random body part) and collapse to the floor"???

Not to imply that he is "injury prone."
