Fifteen years after its recording, I Kinda Like It When a Lotta People Die is finally getting an official release
Made for HBO, the special was shelved by Carlin himself as he felt it inappropriate in the aftermath of September 11 (he had recorded it just the day before).
So not only was the show never officially aired; Carlin himself wrote an entirely different set inspired by what had happened which was broadcast in November 2001 instead.
