Madden 2008

I surprised there has been not thread for this game yet. It comes out tomorrow. Anyone here gonna get it and did they improve the Superstar mode?

Don't really no if they improved the Superstar mode but i reserved my copy at Gamestop and I'm picking it up tomorrow after work.

That would actually be pretty funny. They could do that in superstar mode. Give you different choices to make.

Do you wanna either:
A) Go to Vick's house and watch dog fights.

Smoke marijuana with Ricky Williams.
C) Learn new dance moves from Chad Johnson.


Damn, when I go to college I might be a video game designer so I can just come out with this idea myself.

I would buy it. I would do the smoke, then dance, then if I were really high, go to Vicks house. But all in all, this should be a good game.

Fantasy Mode is pretty cool but the graphics and commentary are like exactly the same. Gameplay is the same too but you can choose to hitstick high or low now. It's not bad but it isn't great either.

Well what do you expect. Madden is like this every year. They make a couple of changes here and there, but in the end, it's basically like their previous games. I used to get caught up in the Madden hype all the time, but I finally realized it's not worth it to spend more 50 dollars when you can wait a bit later and it later for like half the price

I've rented both over the past two weeks and I enjoyed NCAA way more. If you get a roster update for Madden 07, you've basically got the same game.

I bought the game this morning.

Pretty good other than a possible glitch.

I noticed when kicking the ball off (start of the game or after a score by the other team) that you could have the perfect kick lined up and 3/5 times the ball will go out of bounds and the other team will get the ball at the 40 yard line.

No, this isnt me because the funny thing is that when the computer kicks the ball it does the same thing.

I'm playing the PS2 version.

Anyone else notice this problem?

Graphics look pretty good on the 360 but things are kind of the same.

Not me. Anybody else find it really easy to return kickoffs for TD's? I did it twice in one game. (I'm playing with PS2 as well).

It's always been easy for me.

In my first game I got 8 interceptions!

I was playing on Pro level though. Looks like I need to turn it up.
