This makes me mad…
I know somebody that fly’s helicopters to fight wildfires. His job takes him around the world doing so. He’s actually not even in the states right now, over in Turkey. But by talking with him Ive learned about the wildfire fighting business. A lot of times in small places people are basically volunteer firefighters. A lot of times when there are wildfires in our area, the people fighting them are people taking part time jobs as firefighters. Doing it seasonally either along with their full time job, or in downtime to supplement their wages if their other work is seasonal too.
What a brutal job… Incredibly physically demanding, very dangerous.
You gotta be a real p***y to target this demographic. I’d put it in the top of the list behind people which target schools.
