Anyone else picking this up when it comes out? I can't wait.The release date got shortened, and now is being released in 8 days on the 26. If anyone else plans to get this, we gotta hook up online.
 
Ive only played espn 2k4 I believe for baseball. I used to play mvp which was amazing. But Im seriously looking into buying this. I want a good sports game to go along with nba 2k7 just incase I get bored of it. Continuing with the trend of 2k games the animation looks damn near real in this one http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=3967check out the videos there. Its insane.
 
I'm never buying a 2k baseball game again. 2k6 is seriously and by far the WORST GAME. I. HAVE. EVER. PLAYED. I snapped mine in half it was so bad.
 
I personally am buying Mlb the Show 07 when it is supposed to come out on March 7. I think the show will be about 19 million times better than 2k7 baseball...I myself wasnt to crazy about the 2k6 game.
 
Well I really like baseball games but last year I didn't play the Pro edition one's too much because they let go of MVP which was a really good game. I'll proabably look into buying this one and see how it looks.

I wish I could get the show but I have 360 now.
 
What's some info on this game? Player movement? Modes? different things like that.
 
Graphics on the preview looked awesome, but if they don't change the gameplay from last year's game, it's going to suck.
 
nice, do people still play ps2 online and is it going to be for PS3?
 
If I was you and I had ps2 I would just get MLB07 the show just like youknowwhatmyname said because it's going to be better by far.

I'm gonna buy it when it comes out, which is hopefully soon. It's the best Bond yet. Very clever.
 
The Show's graphics and gameplay is horrible. I rented it last year, played it for 3 innings and never touched it again.
 
Yeah, well 2k6's graphics were decent, but the gameplay was like Tony sitting on my nuts. Not to mention they had tons of 'momentum' so they went like 5 feet past wherever you told them to stop. Worst gameplay I've ever seen in a game.
 
That's why they overhauled the gameplay and hired the guy who did MVP, that had the greatest graphics for a baseball game.
 
I don't buy games from retards. If they had any brains they'd separate themselves from the mlb 2k title as much as possible, so people don't confuse the two. Guilt by association, I'm not getting that garbage.
 
I love the show 06, I played it so much against people online, I lost it for ps2 but im still playing it on psp, I like MVP too. I cant wait for the show 07

If you guys have a 360 theres a demo out for it. I cant download it because Im not home long enough during the day. I put the think on download and 2 hours later I was at 27% and I have a great internet connection. So be ready to wait.
 
This.. Game... Is... AWESOME!The fielding is perfect, the pitching is flawless, and the batting is great too. Every player looks exactly like their real life player, the pitchers pitch the same, and the batters hit the same.Every detail in the park is exact. I'm blown away by the graphics and I don't even have HD. Once I do I'll be blown away.I've also noticed the game has better graphics than the demo. Kinda weird.Only thing I'm a little disappointed in is they left out a lot of the big Tigers prospects.Jair JurrjensGorkys HernandezScott SizemoreJeff LarrishPreston Larrison They should all be in there.Get this game. I'm downloading the demo right now, it's at 75%, I'll post comments when it finishes.Edit: As all 2k games, the presentation is amazing. As Captain said, The graphics are great, and I don't have an HDTV. I only played one inning and turned it off because I'm falling sleep typing this, but so far the batting is extremely complicated...I'm sure I'll get used to it soon.

Captain can you explain to me the batting system better? I can't figure it out...
