Major News? (dont have a link)

Oh goodie. As a reward for tuning into 95.5 for the not-so-major news, I now get treated to the Blazer Blue Skies Report with Mike Barrett!

As soon as I heard Barrett was going to be on I turned it off. I do like listening to he and Rice during the games, but can't do it just hear him talk out of his ass about the team

There's no such thing as "major breaking news" they'll tease you an hour for. If it's important, they'll report it right away.

It's the cockteasing aspect of sports radio that made me tune out. I'll take NPR.

I can relate and see where you are coming from with this. When I see your doll, pedophile like picture, I tune you out so I don't have to hear you talk out of your ass about the team.

Not for sure how many more times people are going to be fooled by 95.5 and supposed breaking news. Only thing surprising to me is that they did not string it along for another couple of hours.

I'm glad he did it. I'm also glad I was away during this 95.5 madness and didn't get sucked in.But after reading that there was no reaction among his teammates after it, I don't know if it really mattered much.

And then they make it worse by having Mike "John Denver of Broadcasting" Barrett right after J. Quick. Just shoot me!

ok then I forgive Quick for this one.. F you Lund!

Wow, hurtful?!?!

So out of curiosity, which part has been out of my ass?

The part where I said Nate's offense needed Roy to bail it out?

The part where I said Nate's great plays out of time out were only successful because we had a top 10 player on the roster?

The part where I said drafting so many Euros was stupid?

The part where I said they play to the level of their competition?

The part where I said trading Bayless was a mistake because he can score off the bench?

The part where I said Aldridge is nothing more than a role player?

I mean which part? I would like to know so I can watch the things I say a little closer.

And there is no bashing on Hermie. He, like Greg Oden, only wants to be a dentist.

After 5 years of careful evaluation, and intense statistical analysis by Cho, Nate is almost ready to decide the crucial question: boxers, briefs, or slingshot thong.

Of course, Roy still gets to pick the color!

Quick sent Lund a text to say he wanted to be on the show today. Lund took it as major news, sold it as such, but Quick never said it was major. Roy apologized to the team for his comments after the Memphis game. That's all folks. I'm glad Roy apologized, though. It's encouraging news.

Good summary. You saved me the time of reading the thread. Thanks.

Regardless of the anticlimatic nature of this "story" I am glad to hear that he apologized to his teammates. This team seems to be pretty obviously strained in the chemistry department and if this helps ease tension and gets players closer to being on the same page then it's a good thing.

As I understand it, Roy apologized for saying certain things, and told the team he would not say such things in the future, but he did not say the things he said were wrong. Nice apology. And I'll bet a dollar Nate made him do it.

It was Brandon's idea, according to Nate.
