Very surprised he retired. Did he have some bad medical stuff going on?

He was legit the most effective player on the Blazers 19 months ago. 6MOY the prior season for a 57 win team.

Only played 24 games for the Wizards last year and I think was on a vet minimum deal.

Malcom is heavily involved in developing clean water and infrastructure in
Africa, most recently
Tanzania and he's raised 400K and put in 10 wells so far. He majored in history but his passion is humanitarian work in Africa
