When I saw the title of this thread, I thought somebody got arrested just for saying horrible shit..... had me a bit worried. But this guy deserved it, was way out of line treating this man this way. What a piece of shit!

Racist piece of shit....he needs to be in a straight jacket and a padded cell....that poor man. Breaks my heart to see this shit

People don't seem to understand. With the level of systemic racism built into the American system, we all support racism. And have all of our lives.

If our government isn't removing it from the system, they must be fine with it being there. Since our government set it up that way in the first place, we should all know that they are fine with the systemic racism being there.

That's actually an unfair blanket stereotype for a whole lot of civil rights advocates throughout my lifetime and those of us who have chosen to be interracially married and bring children into the world....that is something I pride myself upon in this life....not being a racist...I may buy a sack of chicken feed from a racist unknowingly but that's not conscious support my friend....what you are citing is America I was born into in the fifties and plenty before me bucked the system. White privilege is glaringly exposed now as much as ever. You are correct though that we've all been too comfortable with the status quo for a lot of our lifetimes...

We as individuals aren't quite so racist. But, if you can really see the level of systemic racism in the system. And you aren't voting for anyone who is doing anything about it, you literally support it yourself because it will never end if nobody does anything at all about it. And they aren't.

I voted for someone who chose the most ethnically diverse cabinet ever assembled with a Native american female and a female black, asian vp...we have a gay representative in the cabinet as well....never before has this happened....there a so many firsts for civil rights with my vote that I truly don't understand your point...I know you don't like Joe but I think my vote was a vote against racism and believe it will be addressed and actually is being addressed. The muslim and immigration bans were lifted day one of this president....I'm happy with the possibilities in front of us.

We all support a racist empire. We have supported this empire all of our lives. It is the same line of thinking as a Trump supporter. They are called racist for supporting him, yet we all support our racist empire.

Barrack Obama didn't remove the systemic racism in the system. America's first black president didn't remove the systemic racism from America's system (imagine that). So, bringing up race, even when they are ceiling breakers, means very little, sorry.

I can't imagine that Joe Biden will do what his mentor would not do. (if he does, I will praise the move, but I don't see it ever happening)

one person is not going to remove racism...it's a collective effort...just like removing slavery or giving equal rights to the voting system..sorry but we disagree about the future and how far we've come...indirectly our consumption supports the titans of industry, sure, but individually we make independent choices and vote for things we believe in when we can....it is not happening in a short period....it will take generations to evolve and make civility normality..some try to lead by example...chip away at our problems the best we can

True, no one man is ever going to remove racism. But, I am talking about the systemic racism built into the system. The system that keeps people of color on the bottom rung of our society. It is a system that shouldn't be there in the first place, yet it is. Therefore, every president before Biden was just fine with it being there.

We the People, is suppose to apply to all Americans, not just white Americans. America never set it's slaves free. Just rounded them up and kept them in perpetual poverty, while sicking the police on them. It's just another form of slavery.

If multi races are not willing to come together and break down barriers, intertwine, rather than go at each other there will always be racism., unfortunately. I have a family of multi races and our kinship and love for another breaks those barriers down and allows us all to respect each culture / race more.
The one thing that disturbs me about the cancel culture is them wanting to segregate more now rather than integrate. Thats a formula for tribalism and war.
