A Fairfax County Police spokesman said officers arrested Williamson for indecent exposure because they believe he wanted to be seen naked by the public.

That's quite an assumption. I expect the police will end up paying him a settlement.

And what was the lady doing walking around in the dark with a 7 yo at 5:30 in the morning looking into people's homes?

Why didn't the police assume she only did it because she wanted to see people naked?
 
How said if he gets convicted and spends a year in jail. This is just ridiculous.


(side note: anyone else think the 'myfoxdc' logo at the top of their page seems like a very phalic symbol? I know it's the Washington monument, but common, isn't there like a group that approves what their logo looks like?)

Life sure was simpler a hundred thousand years ago when we could walk around naked. We need to return to the traditional liberal values of our forefathers and foremothers.

Some issues, like the sexual revolution, cross party lines. Many Democrats and Republicans are social conservatives, and many are social liberals. The news media hates sex, and the entertainment media is infatuated with it. Every individual is conservative about some things, and liberal about other issues. Remember this, grasshopper.

That reminds me of the time I was in the navy (stationed in Guam) and had to go to an outer Marianas Island to check some cyclone preparedness. Anyway, I was dropped off and for a while couldn't figure out what was different. Then it struck me that it was a topless island. So, after admiring for a few hours I soon began to not even notice. Well, except for a few 15-year olds that really grabbed my attention, but you know what I mean.

Raping, beating, and dragging women by their hair are liberal values. That's nice to know.
 
Yay, conservative people crack down on another person for absolutely no fucking reason at all. We were born in our birthday suits for a reason. To use them. What's also great is that when folks get somebody thrown in jail for stupid reasons like this, they fail to realize the costs of incarcerating that person for their jail term, court costs associated with trials, etc, because they are invisible to society. Then when our government has deficits people are like "Why is the government spending so much money?" They are spending so much money, because you are fucking stupid. That is why.

Here's the subsequent article, 2 days later. Police never release information that will help the defendent, but when the legal system is being criticized--well then, they decided to release more information. Now they say it happened at 8:30 am, the woman was the wife of a policeman, and the woman claims she saw an unknown stranger who saw him, but you notice the supposed stranger didn't think it was important enough to report. No wonder they believe the wife's every thought to be clean and spotless--The word of police officers is always to be believed, and now, so are the impressions of their relatives. Pretty soon, if you get into a bar fight with their second cousins, you'll be charged with fighting a police officer.

One of the remarks after the article says, "Only in America." Meaning that in Europe, no judge would take this seriously and destroy the man's life with public humiliation, a year in prison, for the rest of his life he has no jobs available from companies big enough to check background before hiring, for the rest of his life no foreign country will allow him to visit because of a sex-related felony, etc. In Europe, the woman would giggle to herself and brag to friends later, the same as a man would.
