So, I'm sitting here watching the NBATV studio guys gush and rave about the Cavs potential record-setting home record this season.

My mind quickly raced back to that game the Blazers nearly won there. I still shake my head over the circumstances:

1) 4th game in 5 nights...on the road

2) 2nd night of a back-to-back

3) 2 starters out

4) Overtime

And, IIRC, Brandon barely missed a last-second shot in regulation which would have won the game.

This Blazer team is special, folks. In that particular game it was Channing Frye who stepped up in LMA's absence to play a key role. Night in and night out, ya just never know who's gonna provide the significant play to help the team be successful. What a joy this season has been.

Yeah, I believe he drew the foul, down 2, and the shot just missed. He hit the free throws to tie it and send it to OT, but had the shot gone in, he'd have been at the line for a chance to go ahead (and probably win).

That game was followed by the close Philly loss. Imagine how this team would look, record-wise and seeding-wise, had the team pulled those two games out. And they may well have if they hadn't been missing key players.
