<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Father held in tot's slayingPolice said the toddler unplugged Tyrone Spellman's video game, sending him into a murderous rage.By Kera RitterInquirer Staff WriterAlayiah Turman pulled the cord out of a video game while her father was playing. The toddler paid for the infraction with her life, police said.Tyrone Spellman, 25, struck the 17-month-old toddler and threw her across the room last Thursday, police said. When the child's mother returned home to the 1500 block of North 29th Street, Spellman told her the girl was sleeping. After relatives discovered the child's body, police were told that she had fallen off the bed.Spellman, who is also known as Anwar Salahuddin, was charged Monday with murder and other offenses in Alayiah's death. A preliminary hearing scheduled for yesterday was postponed."There's nothing to indicate the child fell off the bed," Homicide Lt. Philip Riehl said. "It appears that the child was hit repeatedly, possibly thrown across the room."In the last month of Alayiah's life, an anonymous caller reported the family to the Department of Human Services. The caller indicated that an adult was yelling at a child who was about 2 years old and that there were holes in the floor of the home, Human Services Commissioner Cheryl Ransom-Garner said yesterday. The caller did not indicate whether the adult was male or female. The next day, a social worker interviewed Alayiah's mother, Mia Turman, and inspected the child and the home. There were no bruises on the child, Ransom-Garner said, and the toddler appeared happy and playful. There had not been any other complaints. There was a small hole in the floor, and a larger hole had been repaired. The agency made another surprise visit Aug. 30 and asked the mother whether anybody else lived in the house, because Human Services performs background checks on each adult in the home. Turman said no, Ransom-Garner said."The first time we went, it was she and the baby. The second time, it was just she and the baby," Ransom-Garner said.Ransom-Garner said the next step would have been to interview family members and inspect the child's medical records. By law, the department has a maximum of 60 days to investigate a case."It's just so heartbreaking," Ransom-Garner said. "This was a case where the child didn't appear to be abused. Obviously the caller knew something about the child and the inside of the house, but they didn't give us much information."</div>http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/news/local/15512907.htm :thumbdn1:

Thats terrible. I would be mad, but I would never take out my anger like that. :no1:

I wouldnt care if my 17 month old baby unplugged my XBOX because he or she doesn't even know what they're doing. I wouldnt even be mad.

We must kill all nerds or they'll continue unveiling their video game rage

That's so f*cked up. What the hell is wrong with people? I mean, some people I just don't get, and never will. Did he really care THAT much about his friggen video game to KILL HIS DAUGHTER about it? You have got to be kidding me.

I don't wish death upon anybody, but this man does not deserve to see another street sign ever again.

No, that's too easy. I would like him to be in prison for life and see what the inmates think of him when he tells them why he's there. I would rather he lived in fear of getting raped/beaten up every day for the rest of his life.

Why would you want him still alive. Just get rid of his life. He doesn't deserve to live.

This is the stupidest thing ever. This guy is the lowest of low lifes on the planet.

no baby should ever go through this I hope he goes to hell seriously who wouuld do that?

wow, that really is awful. I mean I know he didn't mean to kill her, but that's just sad. I would want to die if I did that toa little girl.

I wouldnt keep him in prison, for a few reasons. A) He killed his daughter. He should pay for his sins.
cool.gif
To keep him alive will just cost tax dollars.C) Rotting in hell for enternity is going to be worse than just rotting in a jail cell. If I was in charge of this, I'd make sure more murders got the death penalty and made sure it wouldn't take 10 years to happen, more like 10 months.

Exactly, why waste our money to keep him alive?..He deserves to die - I say we put all these sick bastards on an island and test out one of our nuclear bombs on them.

Faggot.</div>He doesn't look 25. Looks about 35.

I don't know why, but I imagined this guy as white. haha I remember the name tyrone spellman, obviously black, but I just imagined a hardcore gamer to be white.I don't think it would be a bad idea to just have a universal place for a prison tho. just every hardcore criminal in america gets sent to one place to die.

thats terrible..is it really a big deal though?when your xbox gets unplugged doesn't it just pause the game and say controller port 1 is missing a controller and to insert one to continue

The baby obviously unplugged the actual XBOX plug-in, so the game would have been shut off immediately.

Wow, that's terrible! I can't believe he did that....the baby obviously had no idea what she was doing and to be killed over something like that is terrible. I mean, who kills their kid over a video game? I know he was probably mad at her for doing that but come on, that's no reason for him to do that.Even though it would waste tax payer's money, a better punishment for him is being in jail for the rest of his life with no parole. Once his cellmates hear what he did, they'll punish him while he's incarcerated. And besides, killing him for killing his kid isn't going to do anything except get him off this earth. It won't make him pay for what he did.

All of you that are saying once they find out what he's in there for all the other inmates will make his life a living hell and all that bullsh**, if start beating and raping him, they will put him in solidary confinement where nothing will happen to him for the rest of his life. Nothing bad will happen to him in prison. I just wish this would of happened here in Texas so he would get what he deserves and that is the death penalty and the rest of eternity in hell.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DaCaliHustla50 @ Sep 17 2006, 06:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Wow, how could someone to that to their own kid</div>Notice they said that the mother told that agency that there was nobody else there, meaning he's probably a deadbeat with no job and is probably on drugs. Also, they aren't married (not saying all unmarrieds are like that, but yeah).
