Man Robs Kids' Lemonade Stand

Some children running a neighborhood lemonade stand were surprised when a man stole $17.50 from them on Monday afternoon, police said. ‘‘The guy came up and was, like, ’Give me your money,’’’ said Dominique Morefield, one of the kids running the lemonade stand. ‘‘I was shocked. It was just my immediate reaction to chase after him.’’

Dominique chased the man to a nearby home and called police. Officers coaxed Steve Tryon, 18, to come outside and arrested on a preliminary felony charge of robbery.

Tryon was jailed and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday. The Vigo County prosecutor’s office did not immediately know whether he had an attorney.</div>
