Early Friday morning, before catching a quick flight from Vancouver to Calgary, Curtis Manning was stuck doing group work on the University of British Columbia campus.
"Pulmonary physiology," he explained. "The lungs."
Understandably, the 24-yearold hasn't been able to make too many Calgary Roughneck games this season. His class schedule in his first year of medical school has made it nearly impossible for him to attend the team's weekend clashes in the National Lacrosse League.
