According to the New York Post, the Knicks have discussed starting Stephon Marbury tonight against the Boston Celtics.

Marbury has been strong for the Knicks in a role coming off the bench, and would replace the struggling Jamal Crawford at shooting guard.

"He looks great, he looks as quick as ever," one NBA scout said.

If Marbury does not start tonight, he won't be complaining. He's past griping about a bench role.

"I come in and do what I'm told," Marbury said. "It's starting to be a good adjustment."

Good for him, let's see if he has gas left in the tank.

Btw, I get the feeling that if I post here enough...I'll turn into a Knicks fan....The Horror....I blame it on J.

letting him into the starting line up after they said he'd be a sixth man...they're creating a monster

The Knicks will have a good season I think. At least that's what I got from watching the first game in Boston. (couple of days ago)

I think you just subconsciously like the Knicks.

Or I like watching D'Antoni basketball....and I still blame you lol, I think somehow you leave the Knicks news untouched so I would have to venture back here, then subject myself to your propaganda!

I love watching D'Antoni bball. Actually they looked a bit like the Suns, with the free running, and attacking offense at every opportunity.

I even told the Nets fans that the Knicks will have a better season.

You better back me up Mr. J

I think the Knicks would be more apparent as a better team if they had gotten rid of Zach and Eddy for thinner talented big men. Big men in the mold of Beidrins, Bosh type physique.

Damnit J, I posted in here again!

I think CK wants me away from my Lakers and Rockets.

Maybe I just pity the Knicks....I dunno, I'm confused! :ohno:

I feel bad about them as well, from all the bad press they've gotten. (they don't deserve any now since Isiah is not there anymore)

I really think D'Antoni and Walsh will make a winning team out of the Knicks. (it might take 2 or 3 seasons, but it will happen)

Did anyone hear the trash talking by Marbury and House? I'm reading Marbury's lips and so far I got "You're a bum!" and "you ain't sh*t!".

Celtics 88-71 Knicks

4th quarter with 8 minutes left

Celtics basically dominating every aspect of the game. lol (feel bad for the knicks)
