Don't get me wrong I root for the Mariners but they aren't my first love in baseball, that would be the Cardinals. But a little place in my heart wants them to win. I love the nostalgia of going to Mariners games and getting drunk and eating garlic fries. But, for crise sakes, how incompetent can an organization be? A half a billion dollars invested into 2 players. I wonder how the rest of the team feels when most the guys are making 1/50th of what those guys are making. They better make the playoffs or that Zdurinek guy needs to be fired.
