As a Titans fan, I love Mariota already! I'm ridiculously glad we have him and not Winston. He just looks so poised out there, I think we will have a pretty decent year if we stay relatively healthy.

Looking at their schedule I have them 10-6 and in the playoffs this year. Also I think this will be Bishop Sankey's best statistical year.

We have so few great athletes to look up to nowadays. And Marcus is a true one off. Literally been waiting my whole life for the Ducks to have an athlete of that calibur. Only Joey Buckets is higher on my list than Marcus....

My kids gathered with me on the couch to watch this game and cheer Mariota on. Loved every second of his dominating debut.

I don't get it either, but that opinion was very dominant, 95% off all pundits kept talking about how Winston was such a better pro prospect, yada yada yada. I heard some say Marriota wasn't even first round material.

It's just east coast bias. They think Mariota was just a product of the Ducks system, and I guess it makes sense because CK is making just about any QB look good in Philadelphia.

Trent Dilfer needs to eat some crow. I saw him babbling non stop around draft time about how Mariota was a system quarterback. He was really harsh too. Saying he was a career backup type guy.
