Either of the Lakers' best players will risk a suspension right before the playoffs?

Why would they do that?

It may not be overt enough to warrant a suspension. It might be something simple like "accidentally" tripping or doing a KG and throwing a little elbow here or little elbow there.

I don't think so. I would not be surprised if the league has made both teams aware that they will be watching this game closely. Also, for the Lakers to actually try to harm a Blazer again would signal there really is a rivalry. Phil Jackson will never admit that Portland is a rival of the Lakers. I am seeing this going down where one of our guys will get called for a bullshit flagrant foul and tossed to show that nothing will be tolerated. I really do expect a Blazer to get into some sort of scurmish and ejected. The Lakers know they can't win in Portland straight up.

Kobe's not that stupid. He knows how valuable he is to his team.
 
There is no chance in hell a Lakers player will try that. It is one thing to do it to this team with Oden not on the court. It's a very different thing when the big fella is in there swinging elbows.

Remember a couple years ago when Kobe did the whole flailing arm thing after his jump shot and hit Ginobli and Jaric in the face on separate occasions? It'll be something like that if he tries something.

Nah, it wouldn't be one of their stars. If one of the Lakers does try it would be a flunky like Vujacic or Powell.
