Probably over optimism on my part. But I could see them being better than 'just being good enough' to make playoffs.

They are better than I ever thought they'd be. Not only as the depth improved with the new additions but so has the defense improved. And Shaggy has turned into defensive specialist apparently.

Maybe he sees what he we all see. Maybe he sees what I said above. A team that is better than being just good enough to make the playoffs which would be right about 7th or 8th seed.

So in this sense by saying 7th, he isn't really going on a limb. I'm glad he is feeling better about his team this year.
