I don't know if any of ya'll watch the Nets on this season's "Association," but it's essentially the NBA's version of "Hard Knocks," and the player that's constantly clowned on is Marshon Brooks. His offense is given the highest praise, but his defense is always being laughed at. He's always being mocked by other players for his D, or lackthereof, and is even used by Coach Johnson as an example of "what not to do on defense."
If his own teammates and coaches are clowning his defense, then I'd be wary about trying to trade for him.
(It was particularly funny when Coach Johnson had all the players in the screening room, going over video in their luxuriously accomodated screening room. He asked a question to the team, and the answer came from out of the frame... from Marshon Brooks, who was being made to sit on the floor in the corner, haha.)
