Matt Davis, star of "The Vampire Diaries," will join "CSI" for Season 14, according to TVLine.
Davis, who also starred in The CW's recently-canceled "Cult," will play "a smart, athletic and competitive son of a decorated fireman. While on the surface outgoing, he is deep down a bit of a loner, with the soul of a poet and the mind of a mathematician." The recurring role is reportedly kicking off in late October.
