Redesigned 2014 Mazda3 four-door sedan model.
The new interior design features upgraded materials, updated technology.The front seats have been redesigned to add comfort and cut weight. Front seat backs are more scooped out -- also offering more rear knee room -- but the driver's seat cushion was made larger
Mazda just priced its hit Mazda3 sedan, and it starts at not much more than the current version.
Considering how dramatically Mazda updated its Mazda3 sedan, a starting price that's only $245 more than the existing one should be a little easier for buyers to handle.
The sedan with manual transmission will start at $17,740, including a $795 destination fee, and at that base price it still comes with push-button start, power door locks, remote keyless entry, daytime running lights and a USB port.
The even bigger new feature is improved fuel-economy. Mazda says the models with the 2-liter engine and the six-speed automatic transmission will have an EPA highway rating of 41 miles per gallon.
