"McCain just made an ad that uses a sound bite tactic that's nearly as old as he is and is used so much that no one pays any attention to them. Does aping this stale gag demonstrate that he's ready to lead? No."
 
ads like this make it even more unlikely that I would vote for McCain. It's despicable.

I'm surprised a McCain supporter thinks so. If someone as objective as you doesn't think so, I think America needs to rethink having Obama in the lead.
 
lol, it's funny that an attack ad is made just because Obama agreed on some things with McCain. It's kind of sad that these kind of ads (from either side) can have any sway lol. It's also sad how the debate oftentimes doesn't address the question asked, and the candidates switch their focus to a topic they are more familiar on.

It is despicable, from the campaign of a guy who is running on a platform of being able to reach across the aisle and build consensus. What you are doing is promoting an environment where the candidates have to disagree on everything instead of being able to focus on where their real differences are. They don't have to disagree on everything. It is ideiotic to disagree on everything. I want the candidates to identify where their positions are substantially the same and where they are different. The McCain campaign is effectively "punishing" Obama for helping the voter identify their similarities and differences. I would think that if they agree on all the issues, McCain would just win, because he has the experience to carry the plans to fruition.

Meh, count me as one who--while impressed with the speed of the McCain Campaign in putting out commercials--wasn't impressed with the product. I especially don't like it when they stop at the comma, as they did with the final soundbite. Obama went on to discuss how loopholes in the tax law make our effective corporate rate lower than the actual one.

If you're confident in your position, you don't fudge the truth. To me, that was no better than Sen. Obama's "100 years" or "$5MM is rich" criticism of Sen. McCain.
 
wow, that's just nakedly juvenile, and -- yet again -- dishonest. mccain's campaign has really become a joke over the last few months.

it's sad, this campaign could have been an interesting debate over real ideological and philosophical differences. unfortunately, steve schmidt and co. have decided to turn the campaign into a complete clown show.

luckily it doesn't seem to be working. if i had to bet right now, i'd say obama wins at least 350 electoral votes.

i bet mccain will wish he'd stayed truer to himself rather than selling out to karl rove jr. when it's all over.

Are you talking tactic or strategy and would you please differentiate the 2 so I know what your intended message was.
