I see you, and raise another Pelosi quote. While the Senate passed the bill you quoted in Dec 2009, Pelosi's comment was from Mar 9, 2010 and was talking about the amended Bill the House was crafting b/c the Senate one was not looking likely to pass the Democrat-controlled, but not filibuster-proof, House.

I mean, I'm just quoting the lady.
No such thing as a filibuster in the House, as I'm sure you know.
Yes, you are quoting her, but to what end? The story you linked clarifies what was going on at the time. I don't think there is anything wrong with Pelosi (House speaker) saying that the Senate has to pass a bill before the House members can find out what's in the Senate bill. The House and Senate aren't the same thing, as I'm sure you also know.
It's a nice quote and all, but what is your point? Does taking a couple of things Pelosi said out of context mean that there weren't any hearings on Obamacare, or that there are hearings on McConnellcare?
If Pelosi said something that sounds kind of stupid, does that mean it is ok if poor people don't get Medicaid anymore?
