<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jeff McInnis is under contract with the Nets for next season, but neither he nor the Nets are under any illusion about where he fits in the team's plans: nowhere. Signed to a two year, $7 million a year ago, McInnis fell out of favor, then got injured. While the Nets are trying to trade what remains of his contract, the more likely scenario is a buyout, but the two sides are far apart on how much the 32 year old point guard should get.</div>

why dont we keep him as our backup 2, and move wright to the 3

Who wants him? You think we didn't try trading him already, him and Zoran. We will be lucky to get a bag of chips for him.

He was usch a good player in Clevland. Why does he suck for the Nets? Can't we just release him we already have Kidd and Williams.

Why should we release him....we would be losing money in this case. We don't need him, but a trading him would be much better than just releasing him.
