.....all is well in Blazerland again.....for awhile, at least. :)

Afterall, it's all about beating the hated Lakers!

Yeah.

Right.

Personally, I think all is good in BlazerLand right now. We are doing very well this season.

The best cure for anything ailing Portland is for the Blazers to beat the Lakers. It always works.

I think what you're saying is that fans will come back to life with a (potential) win against the Lakers (which, according to some, should be a win because it's a "home" game) and then jump off bridges and out of tall buildings when they lose the next game.

Yes, of course. It's all part of that hyperconclusionarianism approach/mentality many of us - including myself - have in these parts. :D

I thought everything was just fine in Blazerville! What happened?

Rizz, i really do think we will beat you guys this time.

I think you might pull it off, but it's not gonna prove anything we don't know.....the blazers are a very good home team, and a pretty bad road team. We already know that.

I don't think having 17 teams with worse road records is a "pretty bad" road team.

Compared to the rest of the western playoff bound teams, you are.
You are something like 1-12 against western playoff teams. Not very good, is it?
I think only possibly Utah has a worse road record. That makes you a bad road team.

Does anyone else have the records of the other teams in the playoff hunt (outside of the Lakers), and their road records against the western playoff teams?

we own LA at the rose garden..

I really think we're going to drop one of those two in the RG. The games won't be as important to the Lakers but this year's team doesn't seem to take any team lightly. They are more focused, I think they learned a lot in the finals last year when Boston had the stronger will to win.
