Before he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, Randy Moss(notes) got into a catfight with Tom Brady(notes) about, all of things, his facial hair.

According to Charley Casserly of CBS, Brady and Moss had a verbal altercation before the trade and that the pair had to be separated. During the spat, Brady told his receiver to shave his beard. Moss responded that Brady should cut his hair, because he looks like a girl.

Gentlemen, gentleman; both your follicle-stylings look awful. Brady telling Moss that his hair looks bad is like Creed telling Nickleback that they're lame.

You don't usually see historic QB/WR combos break down that bad. At least I don't remember any.
 
lol this is the dumbest "report" ever. If they said that to each other, they were definitely kidding around.
 
btw, Belichick and the Patriots hate Casserly, so I doubt he has any inside sources. Most likely he was fed this story as a joke to see if he would actually report it.

Earlier today, Charley Casserly of CBS reported that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and former Patriots receiver Randy Moss went toe-to-toe before Moss was traded out of town, and that they had to be separated.

The confrontation also reportedly included a comment from Brady about Moss' facial hair and a comment from Moss about Brady's, um, cranial hair.

Peter King of NBC reports, citing two "very highly-placed sources" within the Patriots organization, that the incident did not occur.

As one source told King, "Someone is lying to CBS."

Casserly and Patriots coach Bill Belichick have a history. Earlier this year, Casserly reported that Brady played with three broken ribs, and Belichick teed off.

"Who's been wrong more than Charley Casserly since he left the Redskins? His percentage is like a meteorologist," Belichick said.

"He has no relationship to this team. I'd say less than zero. Based on what? He's never at a practice, never at a game."

We have a feeling that Belichick will have more to say on the subject the next time he meets with the media.

Terrell Owens basically saying that Jeff Garcia is gay, and McNabb is a quitter, in public, are much worse, IMO.

Only one of the two is a known cheater, though ... Belichick. I guess I don't see the proof in 44thrillas post, outside of what info from known cheater Belichick spoonfed a reporter. Belichick was busted for cheating. Casserly was not.

I don't understand how this has anything to do with Casserly being fed a false story to make him look bad....
 
Is it a false story just because Belichik says so?
